All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ==================================================================== Obituary Mrs. Bell Hall was born in Furnett Co., Neb., in 1880 and died at the home of her son, William Lewis in Oxford on February 28, 1931. She was married to Mr. Bud Lewis on Nov. 18, 1895. To this union were born two sons Wm. Lewis of Oxford and Elmer Lewis of Coalgate, Okla. AFter the death of Mr. Lewis she was united in marriage to Mr. Tom Hall on Dec. 28, 1904. Mr. Hall died on Oct. 12, 1929. Five children were born to this union all of whom survive: Mrs. Nellie Huckaby of Shidler, Mrs. Alta Huckaby of Sanford, Texas and Chas., Grace and Johnnie Hall minor children at home. The deceased had been in ill health for the past two years. She made a profession of faith in Christ Jesus and died with the consolation that this affords. Funeral services were held from the Baptist church conducted by Rev. H. J. Hassard at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 25. Text of funeral sermon, "I am The Resurrection and the Life." A mixed quartet sang the hymns: "Going Down The Valley," "Safe in the Arms of Jesus," and "No Night There." Interment was made at Arkansas City.
