BUD ROMANS OCNS - August 19, 2002 - Graveside services for H.J. "Bud" Romans, 87, will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 21, 2002 in The Southern Heights Cemetery, Sapulpa, Oklahoma. He passed away Sunday, August 18, 2002. Harold J. Romans was born February 17, 1915 in Preston, Oklahoma to James J. and Judith Muriel Romans. On March 26, 1937 in Chandler, Oklahoma, Bud married Nettie Frances Jones who passed away one week ago, on August 12, 2002. The couple had recently became residents of the Greenbriar Nursing Home in Enid, Oklahoma. Before retiring, Bud was employed by The Texaco Company and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. Bud is survived by his daughter, Darlene and husband Don Druiett of Waukomis, Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Randy Griffin and wife, Barbara, of Greeley, Colorado, Gayla McAtee and husband, Chris, of Laverne, Oklahoma and Roger Griffin and wife, Nancy, of Enid, Oklahoma; eight great grandchildren, Jeff Griffin and wife, Lacy, serving in The United States Navy, B.J. Griffin and wife, Carrie, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jerri Griffin of Lamar, Colorado, Dustin McAtee, and wife, Amber, Brant McAtee and wife, Earin, and Cory McAtee of Laverne, Oklahoma, and Wendy and Kristopher Griffin of Enid; three great great-grandchildren, Dar and Mara Jade Griffin of Dallas, Texas, Shelby Smith of Enid and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
