The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ GRAVESIDE SERVICES FOR HELEN CORNETT OCNS-October 14, 1999-Graveside services will be held tomorrow (Friday, October 15, 1999) at 11:00 a.m., in the Pawhuska Cemetery for Helen Cornett, 90, who passed away October 11, in the Pawhuska Nursing Home, following an extended illness. The Reverend Scott Fischer will officiate under the directions of Johnson's. Mrs. Cornett was born January 12, 1909 in Sentinel, Oklahoma, the daughter of Phillip and B.B. (King) Young. June 25, 1929 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, she married Judge J. Corbett Cornett who preceded her in death May 2, 1981. The couple made their home in Pawhuska where Helen was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and active in community projects. Surviving are a son, James C. Cornett of Tulsa and a sister, Mrs. Thad (Sally) Holcomb of Pawhuska; five grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
