Graveside services, with military honors, were held Monday, July 22, at Fairfax Cemetery. Hunsaker - Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax was in charge of arrangements. Harvey was born April 1, 1919, in Lindsay, Oklahoma, the son of Charles Roland and Florence Ellen (Nolan) Stone. He graduated from Cushing (Oklahoma) High School in 1940 and attended one year at Oklahoma University prior to enlisting in the U.S. Navy on February 15, 1941. He served six years during World War II, receiving an honorable discharge on February 11, 1947. April 15, 1941, Harvey and Betty Millhorn were married in Cushing, Oklahoma and later (August 4, 1971) he married Goldie in Cushing. He was employed with Halliburton Oil Field Service. Harvey was a member of the Catholic Church, the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed gardening and planting trees. Survivors include his wife, Goldie, of Cushing, two sons, Mike Stone of Vinita, Oklahoma and Pat Stone of Fairfax; one brother, one sister, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers.
