Visitation: January 23, 2003 Service: January 24, 2003 Cemetery: Jennings Cemetery [Photo included] Services for Hazel Alline Weaver of Jennings will be held January 24, 2003 at 2:00 pm in the Sanctuary of the Jennings First Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Compton officiating the services. Burial will follow at the Jennings Cemetery under the direction of Chapman-Black Funeral Home, Inc. of Cleveland, Oklahoma Hazel was born February 13, 1936 in Osage County, Oklahoma to her parents Roy D. and Josie B. (Simmons) Evans. Hazel was raised and received her education in Jennings. On August 1, 1953 she was united to David Junior Weaver in Oilton, Oklahoma. They made their home in several different places until 1968 when Hazel and David moved to Houston, Texas. Hazel and David remained in Houston until 1985 when they returned to Jennings. Hazel has been a active part in Jennings for many years. She and David were active in the Senior Citizens in Jennings, Oilton and Mannford. Hazel was also a member of the Jennings First Baptist Church. During her spare time Hazel enjoyed playing the guitar, singing, playing Skip Bo and filling people with laughter. On January 21, 2003 in Stillwater, Oklahoma Hazel passed away at the age of 66 years 11 months and 8 days. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters Opal Smith, Ruby Ross and one brother Junior Evans. Hazel is survived by her husband, David Weaver, of the home; three Daughters, Sharon Stubblefield and husband Randy of Jennings, Oklahoma; Carol Wilson and husband Paul of Cleveland, Oklahoma; Paula Kirby and husband Darrin of Jennings, Oklahoma; brother, Brice Butler of Mulhall, Oklahoma; sister, Gladys Patchin of Jennings, Oklahoma as well as eight grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends Pallbearers will be David Ballard, Johnny Ballard, David Stubblefield, Tyler Stubblefield, Richie Roberts, and Paul Wilson.
