RICKARD OCNS - June 18, 2002 - Jack W. Rickard, 85, rancher and lifelong resident of Foraker, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, June 14, 2002 in the Pawhuska Nursing Home. Jack William Rickard was born December 13, 1916 in Foraker, the son of Thomas L. and Maymie (Van Dyne) Rickard. On May 24, 1940, he married Reba Molloy in Missouri and they owned and operated their own ranch in Foraker until Jack's retirement several years ago. He was a 32nd Degree mason and a member of the Foraker Community Church. Survivors include: His wife, Reba M. Rickard of the home; his son, Thomas F. Rickard of Ponca City, Oklahoma; his daughter, Judy Rickard Barber of Peoria, Arizona; his sister, Madge Rickard Morris of Foraker; four grandchildren, James Rickard and Jodee Rickard of Ponca City; Darroll Barber of Denver, Colorado and Craig Barber of Bellingham, Washington; three great grandchildren, Robin, Weston and Katlin Barber of Belliingham; and a host of other family and friends. Services were held Monday, June 17, 2002, in the Foraker Community Church with pastor Ruth Tipps, assisted by Pastor Carl Neal officiating. Interment was in the Foraker Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska, Oklahoma, was in charge of arrangements.
