The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ JACKY RAY VADEN OCNS - Archives - Funeral services were held Wednesday, April 29, 1964, at the Church of God in Webb City, Oklahoma, for Jacky Ray Vaden, 28, who was killed April 25, 1964, in an automobile accident at Moorcroft, Wyoming. The Whitlock Funeral Home in Shidler, Oklahoma, was in charge of arrangements and burial was in the Kaw City (Oklahoma) Cemetery. Mr. Vaden was born January 16, 1936 at Carter Nine, Oklahoma, the son of Jesse Lee Vaden Sr., and Lola (Weaver) Vaden. May 16, 1955, he married Joann Johnson in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. He entered the United States Army November 19, 1958 and, at the time of his death was in inactive reserves. He was employed as an oilfield roughneck in Moorcroft at the time of his death. Survivors included: His wife, Joann and a son, Jacky Ray Vaden Jr., both of Moorcroft; his parents of Webb City, Oklahoma; three brothers, Jessie Lee Vaden, Jr., Neal Melvin Vaden and Jerry Edward Vaden all of the Shidler area; and two sisters, Sally Louise Dady of Buena Vista, Colorado, and Dolly Mae Parks of Pawhuska; several nieces, nephews, and cousins and a host of friends.
