::A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery--Hominy OK

JOHN ALBERT PEBECK Jr.

OCNS - September 10, 2002 - John Albert Pebeck Jr., 58, was born August 21, 
1944 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma to John Sr. and Blanch Mae Lytle Pebeck and 
passed away September 4, 2002 in Cleveland, Oklahoma.

John met Josie Basmayor and they were united in marriage in 1993.   They 
lived in the Philippines from 1994 until 1997 when they moved to Hominy, 
Oklahoma.   They attended the Church of the Nazarene in Hominy.   In his 
working days, John owned a sporting goods store and worked as a gunsmith 
and has since enjoyed his time at home with his family.

John leaves behind his wife, Josie, of the home; three sons, John Pebeck 
III of Grand Island, Nebraska, Michael Pebeck of Hastings, Nebraska and 
Ben Pebeck of the home in Hominy; two daughters, Misty Pebeck of Utah and 
Tiffany Pebeck of the home; four grandchildren, Ryan John, Jordan, Kalie 
and Griffin plus other relatives and friends.

John was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.

Graveside services were held Saturday, September 7, 2002 at A.J. Powell 
Memorial Cemetery in Hominy with Pastor Harold Johnson of the Church of the 
Nazarene officiating.   The family entrusted Powell Funeral Home with 
service arrangements.
