Powell Cemetery--Hominy OK The Hominy News - Progress Vol. 33, No. 52 Dec. 26, 2001 Roberta "Jann" Kilpatrick Funeral services for Roberta Jannette "Jann" Kilpatrick, age 53 were held at 2:00 p.m., Sat. Dec. 15, 2001 at the First Church of the Nazarene, Skiatook, with Jesse Madaffari officiating. Interment followed at A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy under the direction of Sien-Shelton Funeral Home. Roberta Jannette "Jann" Kilpatrick, age 53, died Dec. 10, 2001 in Lafayette, LA. Roberta was born July 29, 1948 in Tulsa, Ok., to Robert earl and Clara Maurine Gaylor Kilpatrick. They both were former Hominy residents. She was raised and educated in Skiatook Schools, graduating in 1966. She also attended Central State University and received a Bachelor degree in Chemistry, graduating there in 1970. She made her home in Lafeyette, La., for the past 15 years, where she was employed with Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital as a Respiratory Therapist. Roberta was preceded in death by her mother and father. She is survived by sisters Gayle K. Johnson of Skiatook, Ruth Lee Kilpatrick Smith of Castle, brothers Daniel Zimpel of Sapulpa, Divid Zimpel of Broken Arrow, daughter Terry Butler McDowell, Carolyn Asment of Grove, Ann Zeneta of Caney, Ks, Sherril Arrington of Boulder Springs, Co., mother Mae Kilpatrick of Jenks and a host of other relatives and friends. Casket escorts for the services were: Robert Zimple, John Freidenberg, Brian Zimple, James McDowell, Bruce Vanetta and Leroy Lacrone. Music for the services was performed by the Nazarene Church Group.
