All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Dewey Cemetery--Dewey OK Mrs. Faye Louise Knight Surnames: GOODMAN, KNIGHT, SIEBELS, BOOKER, JOHNSON, HICKS from 5-4-2003 Examiner Enterprise Mrs. Faye Louise (Goodman) Knight, 80, widow of the late Chester Warren Knight, Sr., died at 8:23 p.m. on Thursday in Dewey following a lengthy illness. Funeral services for Mrs. Knight will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday in the Sanctuary of the Dewey, First Church of God. The Rev. Tony Siebels will be the officiant. Committal prayers and interment will be directed in the Dewey Cemetery by The Arnold Moore- Dewey Funeral Home. Mrs. Knight will lie in state in the Arnold Moore-Dewey Funeral Home where friends may call for their visitation until she is removed for services and final rites on Wednesday afternoon. Faye Louise Goodman was born on July 22, 1922 in Bartlesville. She was the daughter of the late Cyrus Steve and Rada (Booker) Goodman. She was reared and received her education in the Bartlesville and Hominy, Okla. community schools and was graduated from the Hominy High School with the Senior Class of 1942. She was employed by Landers Brothers Grocery Store and Phillips Petroleum Co. prior to her marriage to Chester Warren Knight, Sr. They were united in marriage on March 29, 1945 in Dewey and they made their first home in Bartlesville prior to moving to Dewey in 1948. Mr. Knight was employed by the United States Postal Service for thirty years and was an associate of The Arnold Moore Funeral Service for thirty-two years prior to his retirement. Mr. and Mrs. Knight made their retirement residence in Dewey. Mr. Knight preceded her in death on March 15, 2002 in Dewey and since that time, Mrs. Knight has continued living in the Dewey community in retirement. Mrs. Knight was a member of the Dewey, First Church of God and the Women of The Church of God. Surviving are one son, Chester Warren Knight, Jr. and his wife Laura; one daughter, Kathe Louise (Knight) Johnson and her husband Bradley, all of Dewey, Okla.; one grandson, Lance Edward Knight and wife Angel; one great-grandchild, Mia MacKenzie Knight, all of Bartlesville; one brother, O. B. Harrell, Lexington, Okla. and two sisters, Ruth "Babe" Goodman and Mrs. John (Reba) Hicks, both of Dewey.
