All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::?--Coffeyville KS The Hominy News - Progress Vol. 33, No. 37 Wednesday, September 12, 2001 Page 5 Bertha Cordelia Lyons Bertha Cordelia (Tosh, Anderson) Lyons received her Angels Wings on sat., Sept. 8, 2001 in the wee hours of the morning as she made a peaceful transition from this world to the next. She was born on Oct. 26, 1927 in Mayes County, Salina, Oklahoma to Albert Franklin Tosh and Elizabeth Manley Tosh. She was preceded in death by her husbands: James Edward Anderson and Arlo Lyons, also by her infant daughter, Terry Anne Anderson, who was born Jan. 1, 1947 and received her Angel Wings on July 13, 1947. Also preceding her in death were her mother and father, half-brother Jim Tosh, half-sister, Myrtle Maggard and brothers Bill Noah Tosh, Leroy Tosh, John L. Tosh, Norman Tosh, Levi Tosh and Stoney Tosh. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Judy Anderson of Hominy; one brother Orville of Wann; six grandchildren: Tammy and Jimmy Coon of Hominy, Robert Anderson of Texas, Myra Anderson and Kevin Evans of Prue, Dolores and Sam Shorey of Zacatecas, Mexico. Helena and Tom Jones of Fairfax, and Rebekah Anderson of Hominy; eight grandchildren, Tiffany and Jason Coon, Elizabeth Madrid, Chloe and Kali Davis, Melody Shorey, Army Garza and Abel Dale Horton. Bertha had a host of special friends that both worked and resided in Hominy Nursing Home where she had lived the last two years.
