John was born August 29, 1948, in Pawhuska, Oklahoma, the son of William John and Bertha (Burnett) Reynolds. He attended the Pawhuska School System and served in the U.S. Navy. John and Vicki Ann Burris were married November 6, 1980, in Pawhuska. He was Housing Loan Coordinator for The Osage Tribal Housing Authority in Hominy. Survivors in addition to his wife, Vicki of the home in Hominy, are: a son, John Michael Reynolds of Hominy and a daughter, Lacee Rose Reynolds of the home; two nephews, B.J. Smith of Miami, Oklahoma, and John Loren Smith of Kansas City, Missouri; a niece, Christal Weavel of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Frances Ella Weavel. Rosary will be recited Sunday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m., at the Wakon Iron Hall in Indian Camp, Pawhuska. Mass will be celebrated Monday, September 11, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pawhuska with interment to follow in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Graveside military services will be provided by American Legion Post and VFW. Father Leonard Higgins will officiate under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors. John will lie in state at the Wakon Iron Hall, Indian Camp, Pawhuska, until service time.
