Curt was born August 28, 1920 in Fewell, Oklahoma, the son of Benjamin Fred and Lula May (Creps) Taylor. September 24, 1945, he married Macy I. Bruce in Mt. Idi, Arkansas. He was retired from Osage County and was a member of the First Baptist Church. Survivors include: His wife, Macy I. Taylor of the home; seven children, Carl Taylor and wife, Kathi of Glenpool, Oklahoma, Roy Taylor and wife, Debbie of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Florene Taylor Yates of Wynona, Oklahoma, Joyce Taylor Butler and Roger Taylor both of Pawhuska; Treva Taylor Martin and husband, Gene of Skedee, Oklahoma and Caroline Taylor Offutt and husband, Don of Dewey, Oklahoma; sixteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Curt was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. Services will be Saturday, June 22, at 10:00 a.m., in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Pawhuska with Reverend Bill Lawrence officiating. Interment will be in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska, is in charge of arrangements.
