Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, Oklahoma, with family members officiating, for June R. Cole Abbott, 90, longtime resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma who passed away March 21, in The Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Born June 1, 1909 in Blackburn, Oklahoma the daughter of George W. and Carlie (Riddle) Rowden, June was married on September 18, 1934 to Cleve H. Cole who preceded her in death December 12, 1966. August 7, 1967 June married James "Jim" Abbott and he preceded her in death December 12, 1989. Survivors in addition to numerous relatives and friends include one sister, Artie M. Brown of Ponca City, Oklahoma and a number of nieces and nephews including: Martha Conley Brown and Jim D. Conley both of Pawhuska, Benny B. Conley of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, Sherman F. Brown of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Carl D. Conley of Clearwater, Texas; Dick L. Conley of Carthege, Missouri; Helen Brown Wright of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Patty Brown Cluck of Loyalton, California; and Max J. Wilson of Odessa, Texas.
