The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ JERRY LEE OWENS OCNS - December 5, 2002 - Mr. Jerry Lee Owens, 47, construction worker and resident of Tulsa, died at 10:40 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2002 in the Saint John Medical Center, Tulsa, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. Survivors include one son, Jerry lee Owens, II of Tulsa; two daughters, Angel Grace Owens of Wagoner, Oklahoma and Katrina Dianne Owens of Tulsa; his mother, Virginia Owens of Barnsdall; four brothers, Bill Owens of Tulsa; Benny Owens and Harry Owens of Barnsdall and Danny Owens of Dewey, Oklahoma; seven sisters, Barbara Taylor and Joann Selvidge of Barnsdall, Johnnie Mae Roberts of Wynona, Oklahoma, Iona Huddleston of Tonkawa, Oklahoma, Ruby Martin and Amey Watters of Bartlesville and Wanda Todd of Joplin, Missouri; three grandchildren, Cierrah Kaelynn Owens, Daniel Lee Owens and Ronnie Olen Wilbourn and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. Mr. Owens was preceded in death by his father, John Quincy Owens. Graveside services were held Tuesday, November 26, in the Ethel Reece Cemetery, Barnsdall, Oklahoma with Pastor Barry Gott of the Lighthouse Family Worship Center officiating. Military rites were conducted by the Webster-Schrack American Legion Post #227 of Barnsdall. Services and interment were under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home, Barnsdall.
