He was born March 11, 1984 in Claremore, Oklahoma, the son of Kellie Mathes. Joshua was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, the Osage Indian Tribe and was a student in Pawhuska High School. He made his home with his grandparents Delores "Dee" and the late Bill Mathes, Sr.. Survivors are: his mother, Kellie Mathes Hooper of Midwest City, Oklahoma; his grandmother, Dee Mathes of the home; a brother John Lindy Hooper and a sister Korie Jo Hooper, both of Midwest City; an aunt, Sandy Mathes Ray of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; an uncle, Bill Mathes, Jr., of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; two great aunts, Katherine Adkisson of Tulsa and Thelma Tucker of Bartlesville; and a host of other relatives and friends. Rosary service will be at 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 13, in the Mathes home, 2113 Bobo Avenue, Pawhuska. Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, in The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Pawhuska with Father Leonard Higgins officiating. Burial will be in the Pawhuska Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
