The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ JOYCE LAVONNE (SMITH) PERRIER OCNS - August 26, 2002 - Ms Joyce Lavonne (Smith) Perrier, 67, a native of Barnsdall, Oklahoma and resident of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, died at 10:15 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2002 at the family residence in Tulsa. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2002 in the Fitzgerald-Arnold Moore Ivy Chapel, Tulsa with Reverend Jack Gleason officiating. Committal prayers and interment will be directed at the Barnsdall Ethel Reese Cemetery by the Fitzgerald - Arnold Moore Funeral Service. Joyce Lavonne Smith was born August 31, 1934 in Barnsdall, Osage County, the daughter of Charlie R. and Roxie G. (Brown) Smith. She was reared and received her education in the Barnsdall school and was graduated with the Barnsdall High School Senior Class of 1952. She married Roger E. Perrier and they made their home in Bartlesville where Joyce worked for different banking institutions before the Perriers moved to Tulsa in 1959. Joyce had worked for the Admiral State Bank, Mercantile Bank, the W.R. Bentley Company (for fourteen years) and as office manager at the Tulce Oil Company. In 1987 she was employed as a tax preparer for H&R Block where she remained until her death on Saturday. Ms Perrier is survived by a son, Roger D. and his wife, Chong, Perrier of Richardson, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Connie J. and her husband, Mark, Dillon of Tulsa; two sisters, Mrs. Ernie (Betty) Clark of Muskogee, Oklahoma and Mrs. Gerald (Gladys) Pearson of Gainesville, Texas, and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jack Smith. A memorial in Joyce's name has been established to: The American Cancer Society 6440 S. Lewis Tulsa, OK 74136
