Sien Shelton Funeral Home, Skiatook, Oklahoma, was in charge of arrangements. Karen was born July 20, 1966, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, to Kenneth W. and Dorothy M. (Russell) Clifton. She grew up and received her education in the Skiatook public schools. She died Sunday, April 7, in a Bartlesville house fire. In 1993, in Miami, Oklahoma, Karen married Todd Cornett and the couple made their home in Bartlesville where Karen was employed as a waitress at Glen's Grill. Karen is survived by her three children, Kyle Scott Clifton and Felicia Nicole Clifton both of Bartlesville and Emily Ann Cornett of Collinsville, Oklahoma. her mother, Dorothy Clifton of Bartlesville; her father, Kenneth Clifton of Vera, Oklahoma; two brothers, Rick Clifton of Vera and Glen Clifton of Bartlesville; one sister, Cathy Elam of Ochelata, Oklahoma and a host of other relatives and friends. Honorary casket escorts for the services were Kyle Scott Clifton, Felecia Nicole Clifton, Emily Ann Cornett, Bill Owens, Eric Slagle, Rick Elam, Casey Elam, Corey Elam, Troy Reed, Rodney Bell and Tony Bell. Music was under the direction of Tony Bell.
