Raymond Henson officiating. He was born on Dec. 12, 1939 in Tulsa to Clyde and Velma Surrett. He entered into rest on Wed., Oct. 17, 2001. Mr. Surrett was a welder for 25 years, a crane operator for five years and a member of the Avant Baptist Church. He loved fishing, hunting and trading. Pallbearers were Jason Surrett, Chris Surrett, Jeremy surrett, Brian Surrett, Ronie Surrett Jr., Andy Surrett and honorary pallbearer Matthew Tilley. Mr. Surrett was preceded in death by his father Clyde Surrett. Survivors include his mother, Velma Surrett of Hominy; one sister, Shirley Tyler and husband C. H. of Pawhuska; three brothers Ronnie Surrett, Gary Surrett and Jerry Surrett, all of Pawhuska; also two sons, two daughters, 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Interment was in the Powell Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Sperry.
