Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., March 2, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Pawhuska, Oklahoma with Reverend Dale Nielson and Reverend Tim Prater officiating. Interment will follow in the A.J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy, Okalahoma. Katie was born April 1, 1913 in Ochelata, Oklahoma, the daughter of David A. and Marteen S. Deardoff Rabourn and August 23, 1932, in Skiatook, Oklahoma, she was united in marriage to Reges Don Henderson, Sr., who preceded her in death on March 29, 1979. Katie lived a full life, a very happy, content person, unselfishly loving and taking care of her family and others. Now the Lord is taking care of her. Her motto was "What you can do a lot of I can do some". Over the years, she enjoyed working with the Home Extension Club, was active in her church and has received many certificates for her volunteer work. But most of all, she loved her family and being a homemaker. Katie enjoyed reading her Bible, playing the piano, dancing, decorating cakes, crocheting, oil painting, making quilts and dolls, arranging flowers, cooking and sewing for herself, family and friends. Katie was a loving mother to: Reges (R.D.) Henderson and wife, Patsy, Art Henderson and wife, Argene, and Corene Butcher and husband, Raymond, all of the Nelagoney area. She was a wonderful grandmother to: Wes Butcher and wife, Joy; Theresa Rulo and husband, Robert, of the Nelagoney area; Ricky Henderson, Kay Chambers and husband, Charley all of Pawhuska; Roger Butcher and wife, Suzzie of Bowring, Oklahoma; Christie Johnson and husband, Dale of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; Sharron Smith and husband, Bret, of Newkirk, Oklahoma, and John Henderson and wife, Angie of Skiatook, Oklahoma. Great grandmother to: Skyler Rulo, Brandon Allen, Nathan Butcher and wife, Amy, all of the Nelagoney area; Kate, Will and Lee Chambers of Pawhuska; David Henderson and sister, Molly of Skiatook; Robbie Rulo and wife, Rachael of Grove, Oklahoma; Angela Smith and husband, Mike of Dewey, Oklahoma; Jeraka, Sondra and D. Wayne Johnson of Bartlesville; Levi Butcher of Bowring; Ronnie Smith and brother, Greg of Newkirk; Fawn Butcher of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Great-great grandmother to: Brittany, Katelynn, Hunter, Trey, Robynn, John, Roper, Patrick, Alex, Zechariah and Ember. Katie is also survived by three nieces: Della May Rabourn Clifford of Garber, Oklahoma; Georgia Selby Windle of Loveland, Colorado; Bonnie Selby Pitts of Jennings, Louisiana; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Katie was preceded in death by one daughter, Billie Dare Henderson; one sister, Lola Rabourn Selby and her brothers, Rob, Art, Tom and Gus Rabourn. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
