The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SERVICES THURSDAY FOR LEE PATTERSON OCNS-December 28, 1999 - Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 30, in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, Pawhuska for Lee H. Patterson, 80, who passed away December 24, in The Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Lee was born January 30, 1919 near Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma, the son of Herbert Stewart and Delta Gertrude (Redburn) Patterson and grew up in the Stillwater area. He was married July 1, 1941 to June Bright and they were divorced in January, 1951. November 24, 1956 he married Pauline Boyd Buckbee who survives at the home in Pawhuska. Prior to his retirement Lee owned and operated a television sales and repair business featuring Curtis-Mathes televisions. He attended The Calvary Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Survivors in addition to his wife, Pauline, include a son, Richard Patterson of Puyallup, Washington; two step-daughters, Rose Young and Lucile Smith both of Pawhuska; five brothers, James of Newkirk, Oklahoma, Raymond and Charles of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Hubert of Lebanon, Oregon, and John of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; seven grand children, fifteen great grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, four step-great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Charles Patterson, a sister, Jennie Lewis and two brothers, Don and Harold Patterson. The Reverend Scott Hill officiated at the the services and burial which followed in the Pawhuska Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
