He was a Specialist 4 in the U. S. Army serving with the 5th mechanized infantry at Cam Lo. His mother, Mrs. Grace Worl, has received word that death came from hostile action in the vicinity of the DMZ. This is the demilitarized buffer separating North and South Viet Nam. Powell Funeral Home will be in charge of burial arrangements and interment will be in Hominy City Cemetery. Information concerning the time of arrival of the body was not available at press time. Leslie attended Hominy schools starting in the 1st grade. In 1962 he moved to Guthrie and later graduated in California. He was active in ROTC during his high school years in Califonia. He entered the service in March, 1968. In September of 1968 he went to Viet Nam. His mother, Grace Worl lives at 4921 Roanoke, Fort Worth, Texas. Other Hominy Viet Nam casualites have been Lt. Harvey Shelton, Gunner's Mate G-3 Sammy Cross and last week, Boatswain's Mate 2/C Jackie R. Morgan.
