LILY MAY (CRAIG) BOHNSACK OCNS - November 30, 2002 - Mrs. Lily May (Craig) Bohnsack, 79, widow of the late Clayton R. Bohnsack and a resident of Barnsdall, Oklahoma, died at her family home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma on Wednesday morning, November 13, 2002. Funeral services for Mrs. Bohnsack will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 19, in the chapel of the Arnold Moore - Barnsdall Funeral Home. Committal prayers and interment will be directed in the Ethel Reese Cemetery, Barnsdall by the Arnold Moore - Barnsdall Funeral Home. Lily May Bohnsack will lie in state in the Drawing Rooms of the Arnold Moore - Barnsdall Funeral Home where friends may call for their visitation until the service hour, Tuesday afternoon. Lily May Craig was born March 28, 1923 at Florence, Kansas, the daughter of Douglas and Lily (Barker) Craig. She was reared and received her education in the Skiatook, Oklahoma schools and was graduated with the Skiatook High School Senior Class of 1941. Lily and Clayton Robert Bohnsack were united in marriage at South Coffeyville, Oklahoma on October 25, 1941 and made their home in Barnsdall where Mr. Bohnsack was employed with the Barnsdall Refinery and the Defense Corps. During his tenure in the Defense Corps, the Bohnsacks resided in Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma and Oak Ridge, Tennessee. They returned to Barnsdall in 1946 and Mr. Clayton was an employee of the Harlem Oil Company until going into business for himself as a driller and oil producer. The Bohnsacks retired in 1986 and continued their residence in Barnsdall. Mr. Bohnsack preceded her in death on May 17, 2002. Mrs. Bohnsack had been a resident of the Tall Grass Estates since February, 2002. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Skiatook. Survivors include a son: Daniel C. and Liana Bohnsack of Nowata, Oklahoma; a granddaughter, Mrs. Kevin (Deana Bohnsack) Crane of Tulsa and two sisters, Mrs. Daisy DeLay of Skiatook, and Mrs. Dorothy Footer of Tulsa. In addition to her husband, Clayton Bohnsack, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Ms Shelley Bohnsack in June, 2002.
