HOLD SERVICES FOR CAR CRASH VICTIMS Funeral rites were conducted in Pawhuska, Okla. this week for Mrs. Ollie May Luppy, 50 and Marvin Ray Gullett, 36, two local residents, who were killed in a head-on collision of two automobiles, early Sunday Morning. Near the half-way house on highway 60 between Pawhuska and Bartlesville. Four other persons, all Wyononans, were hospitalized from injuries received in the crash. There were Mrs. Syrana Jane CASE, 86: Russell Eugene LEWELLEN, 49: Mrs LEWALLEN, and their 13 year old daughter, Neota. All are recovering. Services for Marvin Ray GULLETT were held at 2'oclock, wed. afternoon, in the chapel of the Johnson Funeral Home, with the Rev. W. F. VANDERBERG, pastor of the Baptist Lynn Mission Church, Officiating. Assisted by the REV. A. WORTHINGTON of Pawnee, Okla. Pastor of the Osage Indian Baptist Mission Church here. A quartet, composed of the REV. WAKON IRON, HAROLD REDCORN, GUY MARPLE, AND GABE PAXTON, sang "Going Down the Valley" and "In the land Where We never Grow Old". Casket Bearers were: Lester AMES, LLOYD GULLETT, Delbert GULLETT, Alton GULLETT, TED OGAN, Earnest HASTINGS.All related to the deceased. Gullett was born Sept 1, 19123 in Cleveland County, Okla. and came to Pawhuska with his family 25 years ago. At the time of his death, he was employed by the City of Pawhuska. Okla. Surviving are five children: Betty JO Gullett age 13, Marjorie Ann Gullett age 11, Norma Jean Gullett age 9, Connie Maries Gullett age 7, and Kenneth Ray Gullett age 5. He also leaves his father, Joseph Crockett Gullett of Pawhuska, Okla. He leaves the following brothers: Cecil Gullett, Jim Gullett, Haskell Gullett, John Gullett, Joe Gullett, Wesley Gullett, Henry T. Gullett. Sisters: Mrs. Era Veasy, Tulsa. Mrs. Elizabeth Ames, Chino Calif. Mrs. Louise Swartz of Elgin, Kansas. (* Note: all the children of Joseph C. Gullett are now deceased as of 2002.)
