Vaughn, 76, was born April 18, 1926 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and entered into rest August 19, 2002 at Cleveland (Oklahoma) Manor Nursing Home. Linda has resided in Hominy, Oklahoma for about sixty years and enjoyed going to bingo, fishing, casinos and bowling. She lived next door to Roy Sharpnack's family and loved Dale as if he was one of her own. She loved her dog, Tiger, and worked most of her life as a homemaker but had also worked at Wal-Mart's jewelry department. Survivors include two stepsons, Paul and Mike Vaughn both of Oklahoma City; in-law, Emma Bell Gray and numerous close friends. She is also survived by Dale Sharpnack, who was like a son to her, and his wife, Lois. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, Joe Vaughn and Carl Casey. Graveside services were held August 21, at A.J. Powel Memorial Cemetery, Hominy with Reverend Clifton Phelps of the First Assembly of God Church, Hominy, officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Powell Funeral Home.
