Born June 29, 1936 in Stilwell, Oklahoma, the son of Robert James and Nellie Ann (Wilson) Radford, Leroy married Marjorie Steele January 18, 1959 in Miami, Oklahoma. Leroy was a longtime employee of the City of Pawhuska with Parks and Cemetery Department and was also a horse trainer. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Survivors included his wife, Marjorie of the home in Pawhuska; three daughters, Laurie Ann Dolasinski of Riverside, California, Nellie Louise Townley and Marjorie Lynn Ellis, both of Pawhuska; one son, James Leroy Radford of Pawhuska; his mother, Nellie Ann Radford of Pawhuska; a niece, Angelia Radford of the home; Susan and Bobby Ray Wadsworth of Branson, Missouri; two sisters, Ethel Linkard of Wichita, Kansas and Mary Hall of Hominy, Oklahoma; eight brothers, Calvin Stone of Newkirk, Oklahoma, Bobby Joe Radford of Wagoner, Oklahoma, Raymond Radford of Mounds, Oklahoma, Hershel Radford, Tom Radford (who has since died), Jack Radford, Delmar Radford and Earl Radford, all of Pawhuska; eight grandchildren, Ryan, Rodney and Gracie Dolasinski, Rebecca and Johnny Ray Deatherage, Quincy Leroy and Jacqulyn Jean Ellis and Jeremy Lee Radford and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held June 18, 1992 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Vernon Wadsworth officiating. Interment was in the Pawhuska Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
