The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ LOIS IRENE "TOOTSIE" WILLARD OCNS - September 10, 2002 - Lois Irene "Tootsie" Willard, 79, longtime resident of Burbank, Oklahoma, passed away Friday evening, September 6, 2002 at Tulsa Regional Hospital. Lois was born June 7, 1923 at Burbank the daughter of Vernon J. Bryan and Dora (Wayman) Bryan and was a 1941 graduate of Burbank High School. She married Clellan Haskel Willard October 6, 1942 at Shidler, Oklahoma. In 1948 the couple moved to New Mexico where Mrs. Willard was employed for some twenty years with the Pay Day Grocery Store in the town of Eunice. They moved back to the Burbank area in 1978. She was a member of the Burbank Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing and working in her yard. Survivors include: Three sons, Larry Willard and wife, Mary, of Burbank, Bryan Willard and wife, Barbara, of Ruidoso, New Mexico and Terry Willard and wife, Glenda, of Carlsbad, New Mexico; one brother, Wayman Bryan of Fairfax, Oklahoma, twelve grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren; one aunt, Martha Rowe of Burbank and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clellan on May 3, 1991 and two brothers, David Bryan and Hartzell Bryan. Casket bearers were Jason Willard, Lana Willard, Wayman Bryan Jr., Terry Acton, Riley Bryan and Miles Carpenter. Reuben Rowe was Honorary casket bearer. Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 10, at the first Baptist Church of Burbank with Reverend Chris Cooper presiding. Interment was in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker-Wooten Funeral Home of Fairfax.
