The submitter has given permission to the USGenWeb Archives to store the file permanently for free access. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TUESDAY SERVICES FOR LAWRENCE SIZEMORE OCNS-November 27, 1999 - Lawrence Edward Sizemore, 65, passed away November 23, in The Hillcrest Medical Center, Tulsa, following an extended illness. He was born November 17, 1934 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma the son of David and Mary Jane (Gordon) Sizemore and attended Booker T Washington School in Pawhuska. Lawrence was a chef for many years at the Duncan Hotel in Pawhuska and received a Governor's Commendation for his services as cook for The National Guard. December 12, 1965 he married JoAnn Brown in Sedan, Kansas. He was a member of The First Baptist Church where he served as deacon and as a member of the Brotherhood. Survivors are: A daughter, Lawrencetta Sizemore Johnson of Oklahoma City; three sons, Norman Sizemore of Oklahoma City; Craig Sizemore of Topeka, Kansas and Gerald McBurl of Tulsa; a sister, Elaine Johnson Puckett, Pawhuska, fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services will be held Tuesday, November 30, at 2:00 p.m. in The Johnson Chapel, Pawhuska with Reverend Gene Calvert officiating. Burial will follow in the Pawhuska Cemetery under the direction of Johnson's Funeral Directors.
