Funeral services were held Monday, August 12, at the First Osage Baptist Church with Reverend Robert Glasgow presiding. interment was in the Fairfax Cemetery under the direction of the Hunsaker - Wooten Funeral Home. Leslie Wayne Dilbeck was born August 29, 1937 at Fairfax, the son of Hershel A. Dilbeck and Opal (Faulk) Dilbeck. He attended the Grayhorse and Fairfax schools and was a 1955 graduate of Ralston High School where he was active in basketball. June 15, 1964, he married LaVon Jones in Winfield, Kansas. He was employed at the Ralston (Oklahoma) Rock Crusher at an early age, later being employed with the pipeline, the American Supply Company and for the past twenty-seven years was an independent pumper in the Fairfax area. His enjoyments included hunting, fishing, story telling, the outdoors and visiting with family and friends. Survivors include: His wife of thirty-eight years, LaVon; three sisters, Dorothy Houser and husband, Ed, of Mabron, Washington, Deborah Gerard and husband, Tom, of Yakima, Washington and Sandy Price and husband, Ron of Moxee, Washington; two brothers, Jackie Dilbeck and wife, Sandy of Yakima and Rex Dilbeck and wife, Michelle of Grandview, Washington; sister-in-law, Hazel Dilbeck and several other brother and sisters-in-law that include Earl and Loraine Wilson, Woodrow and Dorothy Wilson, Irene and Clay Smith, Jimmy and Jeannie Wilson, Roy Wilson, L.D. Jones and Jim Wilson; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Leslie was preceded in death by his parents; one infant daughter, Bonita Dilbeck; one brother (and best friend) Leon Dilbeck and one sister-in-law, Pearl Wilson. Casket Bearers were Roy Lee Wilson, Andy Dilbeck, Tommy Dilbeck, Tim Dilbeck, Dickie Johnston and Henry Johnston. Honorary Casket Bearer will be Tip Asher.
