Masonic rites were conducted in Hillside Cem. under the direction of Rogers Funeral Home. Mr. Maloy died Wednesday in a Tulsa hospital after a long illness. A resident of Skiatook 30 years, he had worked for the city 13 years, and had been fire chief since 1950. A native of Mountain View, Arkansas, he lived in Avant 18 years until coming to Skiatook. He was a 32nd degree Mason, a member of Masonic Lodge No. 416, and the Oklahoma consistory at Guthrie, and a past grand master of the Skiatook Masonic Lodge. He was a member of the Methodist church here. He is survived by his wife, Helen; a son, Ray Gene, of Skiatook; six brothers, Joe of Pittsburgh, Kansas, Arthur of Pryor, J. H., Roy and J. H. all of Avant and Ray of Skiatook; and two sisters, Mrs. D. R. Stephens of Dalhart, Texas, and Mrs. Guy Grider, of Oklahoma City.
