MALOY SERVICES HELD AT AVANT

     Funeral services for James H. Maloy, 69, of Avant were held Monday in the
First Methodist Church, Avant.
     Maloy, owner and operator of the J. H. Maloy Insurance Co. at Avant, had
lived in the area about 50 years.
     A native of Arkansas, he was a former oil field worker before becoming an
insurance salesman.  Maloy died Friday in the Muskogee Veterans Hospital.
     He was a member of the First Methodist Church of Avant.
     Survivors include the widow, Mabel; two sisters and four brothers including
Ray and Roy of Skiatook and J. E. of Avant.
     Burial was at Resthaven Cemetery, Sperry, with Peters Funeral Home in
charge.
