MAUDE LUCILLE GILLILAND

OCNS - September 16, 2002 - Maude Lucille Gilliland, 88, passed away 
Saturday, September 14, 2002 in the Jane Phillips Medical Center, 
Bartlesville, Oklahoma.

Maude Lucille Wassom was born February 16, 1914 in Boulanger, Oklahoma, the 
daughter of Houston and Pearl (Tye) Wassom.   May 15, 1934, she married Tom 
B. Gilliland in Bartlesville.   He preceded her in death on October 29, 
1973.   Mrs. Gilliland was a homemaker and a member of the Bowring 
(Oklahoma) Baptist Church.

Survivors include:   A son, Dwane Gilliland of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; a 
daughter, Carol Pinkston of Beggs, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren; nine 
great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.   In addition 
to her husband, Mrs. Gilliland was preceded in death by a son, a grandson 
and nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 18, in the 
Bowring Baptist church with Pastor Dwane Gilliland officiating.   Interment 
will be in the El Caddo Cemetery near Peru, Kansas. 

Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska is in charge of arrangements.
