MELVIN "DALE" HAMBRIGHT

OCNS - August 1, 2002 - Melvin Dale Hambright, 54, passed away Wednesday, 
July 31, 2002, in the Bartlesville (Oklahoma) Care Center following an 
extended illness.

Mr. Hambright was born December 10, 1947 in Fairfax, Oklahoma, the son of 
Melvin Lee and Mary Levonia (Baugh) Hambright.   He was a retired 
independent oil producer whose favorite pastimes were hunting and fishing.

Survivors include:   His daughter, Renae Smith and husband, Merrill, of 
Tulsa; two sons, Jimmy Hambright and wife, Cheri', of Webb City, Missouri 
and Mark Hambright and wife, Krista, of Bowring, Oklahoma; two sisters, 
Cody McNair and husband, David, of Bartlesville and Dodie Noland of 
Chanute, Kansas; seven grandchildren and a host of other family and 
friends.   Mr. Hambright was preceded in death by his parents and a 
brother, Joe Hambright.

Visitation for Mr. Hambright will be Friday, August 2, from 6:00 p.m. to 
7:30 p.m., at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel, 223 East Sixth Street, 
Pawhuska, Oklahoma.   Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, 
August 3, in the Pawhuska City Cemetery with Reverend Dwane Gilliland 
officiating.
