He was born to Marion Herbert Carpenter and Mary Eleanor (Watt) Carpenter Isham on Dec. 17, 1929 in Hominy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea 1947 to 1951. He worked as a heavy equipment operator on pipeline construction. Memorial services will be at noon on Thurs., July 12, 2001 at the Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
