J. Wallace and Ada Ethel Buse Wallace. She went to be with our Lord on Feb. 2, 200s. She was 83 years, 1 month, and 19 days old. Bea was raised in the Hominy area and attended Hominy Schools. Bea moved with her family quite a lot living in California and Idaho before returning to Oklahoma. Bea eventually returned home to Hominy where she spent the remainder of her life. Bea was very diligent and hard working and proved that diligence earning two Employee of the Year awards at Sky Chef and two Employee of the Year awards at Oral Roberts University also. She was Employee of the Month many times in her career. Bea retired from American Airlines. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Hills Assembly of God Church in Edmond. Bea loved her family, she was charming, witty, and gracious. She was quick to laugh, slow to anger, slow to speak, and long on wisdom. She was proud of her Cherokee heritage. Bea is survived by a son Jesse Marquardt and wife Renee of OKC; five grandchildren Kristin Cooksey and husband Coy of Guthrie, Kammi Marquardt of OKC, Daniel Marquardt of Ingleside, Tx., Keela Marquardt of OKC, and Tiffany McLing of OKC; two great-grandchildren Ashton Cooksey and Koby Cooksey of Guthrie; two sisters Tabitha Davis and husband Jack of Tulsa and Ruth Wheeler of Hominy; and her beloved sister-in-law Polly Wallace of Hominy; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Bea was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers Russell and Burt, and a nephew Lawrence Wheeler. Services for Bea are 10:00 a.m. Thurs. Feb. 7, 2002 at Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Ron MacCaslin officiating. Pall Bearers are Petty Officer 3rd Class Daniel Marquardt, Gene Wallace, Jeffrey Davis, Noonie Red Eagle, Mitch Wallace, Paul Red Eagle, Jade Davis, Jon Davis, Kenneth Wheeler, Jessie Bud Wallace, Roger Wheeler, Donnie Kent, and Bennie Lee Kent.
