Services: Jan. 24, 2002, at Regency Park Church of the
Nazarene in Tulsa, Ok. With Rev. Winfred Ritter Officiating
Interment: Resthaven Cemetery in Sperry, Osage Co., Okla.
Funeral Home: Johnson Funeral Home Sperry, Okla.
Parents: Lovell and Maude (Greer) Hurst
She was the last of 10 children.
Married: James Thomas Hunt in 1940
Married: William Eugene Cox in April 1955
Married: Frank Byoron Melson on Dec. 23, 1961
Residence: Tulsa, Okla. formerly of Turley, Okla.
Occupation: Medical secretary and bookkeeper
Retired in 1984
Survivors: One daughter: Constance Jean (Cox) Downing
Born: Jan. 9, 1956. Three granddaughter: Audrey Downing,
Jami Hunt, and Brandy Hunt, all of Tulsa, Okla. One
grandson: Jimmy Hunt of Coweta, Okla.; Seven
Great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death: a son James Thomas Hunt Jr.
Born: May 25, 1942. Died: Jan. 24, 1999;
her Parents, husband, and all of her brothers and sisters.
