He just celebrated his ninth birthday. He was born on Sept. 11, 1992 in Tulsa to Amy Marie Glidewell and Jessie Carl Mitchell II. Devin attended Prue School he was currently enrolled in the third grade. He loved to hunt and go fishing, especially with his Dad. He and his Dad were inseparable. He enjoyed riding off road vehicle and traveling with his grandmother. He made a special place in his heart for everyone he met. He was a good person to be around and liked by all that met him. He will be missed by all that knew him. Devin is survived by his parents, Jessie Carl Mitchell II of the home and Amy Marie and her husband Brian of Columbus, IN; four brothers, Dakota Keith, Jessie Carl III, Brandon Corey and Ethen Alik; his grandfather Jess Mitchell and grandmother Virginia Horton; Aunt Johnie and Uncle John Stewert, Aunt Ruby and Uncle Bill Poole, Uncle Ron Horton, Aunt Mercel Spiers, Aunt Michelle McGehee and Uncle Jeff Miller and cousin Brad and Brooke Mayce, stepmom Patricia McGehee and a host of other cousins and friends. Devin was preceded in death by his grandfather, his grandmother Betty Reid and Uncle John Paul Glidewell. Services for Devin were held Fri., Nov. 2, 2001 at the First Baptist Church in Prue with Reverend Garry McDevitt officiating.
