All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm ===================================================================== ::Woodland Cemetery--Cleveland OK The Hominy News - Progress Vol. 30, No. 8 Wednesday, February 21, 2001 Page 5 Ruby Lee Moody Ruby Lee Moody, Osage resident since 1999, passed away on Sat., Feb. 17, 2001 at the Cleveland Area Hospital at the age of sixty-years, one month and three days. Ruby was born April 14, 1941 in Moore County, North Carolina. She was the daughter of Jasper and Elizabeth Marsh. She was raised in Siler city, North Carolina and attended school there. Upon completion of her education, Ruby worked for several years as a cook in various restaurants and then later worked as a presser in a dry cleaners. Ruby was married to Hubert Moore on November 17, 1977 in Sandford, North Carolina. The couple resided there until moving to Osage on April 19, 1999. Ruby was a Missionettes leader (a girl's bible study group that teaches them to grow up as Godly ladies) for many years in her church in North Carolina. She was also a Sunday School teacher for many years. Ruby loved to be around people. She was a faithful member of the First Assembly of God Church in Cleveland. Ruby is survived by her husband, Hubert of the home, and two sons, William Grissom and Mike Grissom both of Charthage, North Carolina; and a sister, Mattie Kirk of Broken Arrow. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Luther, Jasper and Robert Marsh. Funeral services were held Tues., Feb. 20, 2001, at the Woodland Cemetery Chapel with Rev. Dan Edens officiating.
