Powell Memorial Cemetery--Hominy OK MARY PATRICIA TRUMBLY OCNS - December 20, 2002 - Mary Patricia Trumbly, 62, a lifelong resident of Hominy, Oklahoma was born October 29, 1940 in Tulsa, the daughter of Pat and Mae Penn Trumbly and the granddaughter of Albert and Dora Penn and George and Blanche Trumbly. She passed away December 17, 2002. Mary Pat was a 1961 graduate of Hominy Public Schools and started out as a licensed cosmetologist. She opened and operated her own business and was a CLEET (Council of Law Enforcement Training and Education) certified security guard and certified Emergency Medical Technician. She had attended Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma and was a member of the Native American Church. She attended Friends Church and was later confirmed into the Catholic Church and was a member of the St. Joseph's Parish. Mary Pat's great loves were her children, grandchildren and visiting with friends. In addition to rearing her children, she led a full and active life. Mary Pat is survived by one son, Cory Harlan and wife, Kay, of Stillwater, Oklahoma; four daughters, Natalie Holt and husband, Kenneth, and Belinda Lasley of Hominy, and Marsha Harlan of Tahlequah, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Evelyn Taylor of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Oney Kay Timmis of Udall, Kansas. Mary Pat was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, George Otis Trumbly, Bob Leon Trumbly, Charles Francis Trumbly and Patrick Monroe Trumbly Jr. Native American Services for Mary Pat Trumbly were held at 8:30 a.m., Friday, December 20, 2002 at her home with Harry Roy RedEagle officiating. Catholic Mass followed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Bruce Brosnahan officiating. Casket Bearers were Brent Maker, George Trumbly, Jon Trumbly, Jim Timmis, Jim Hopper and Jess Hopper. Mary was laid to rest at A.J.
