Lemmons Mary D. Lemmons, 81, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away Nov. 9, 2001 at United Medical Centerwest in Cheyenne. She was born April 12, 1920 in Winfield, KS and had lived in Cheyenne since 1971. Mrs. Lemmons was a member of the Rebekah's Lodge in Hominy and was a volunteer for the Salvation Army. She is survived by six sons, John Lemmons, Kenneth Lemmons and Ronald Lemmons all of Cheyenne; Clifford L. Lemmons, Clifford D. Lemmons and Oarfield Lemmons all of California, a daughter Delilah Lemmons of California, a sister Leontine Wilson, 23 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford W. Lemmons in 1979, her parents, Lester and Vivian Diem and a brother, Thurman Diem. Services will be held Fri., Nov. 16, 2001 at 1 p.m. graveside at A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery in Hominy with Reverand Mark Wright officiating. Services are under the direction of Powell Funeral Home. Friend who wish to contribute, may do so to the Foundation for the Blind in honor of Mary D. Lemmons.
