J. Novak, superintendent for the Continental Oil company here, died at the local hospital Wednesday morning at 6:15, after an illness of five weeks of typhoid fever and pneumonia. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. E. Poole, pastor, at the Presbyterian church Thursday afternoon at four o'clock following which interment was made in the Hominy cemetery. Aside from her husband, deceased leaves a small daughter and a baby boy.
