Johnson Mary Johnson was born September 23, 1912 in Marion, Kansas to Edson Jewett and Lottie Cope Jewett. She entered into rest on May 23, 2001 in Pawhuska. Mary liked to crochet in her spare time. She was a member of the First Christian Church although she also attended the Nazarene Church. She married James A. Johnson on April 21, 1934 in Marion, Kansas. She had a special love for each of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary is survived by two sons, Garry Gaylen Johnson and wife Sherry Ellen Johnson, and James Alan Johnson and wife Janet Lynn Johnson, one sister Dora Christener; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, also a host of nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Tues., May 29, 2001 at 2 p.m. at A. J. Powell Memorial Cemetery. Officiating services was Pastor Harold Johnson of Hominy Church of the Nazarene. Funeral services were under the direction of Powell Funeral Home in Hominy.
