Mrs. Quinalty was born April 17, 1921 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Joseph Alexander Bowman and Mary Adelia (Della) Chapman Bowman. She lived in Seminole, Oklahoma; Shawnee, Oklahoma; and Geary, Oklahoma, graduating from Geary High School in 1939. November 27, 1941 in Shawnee, Oklahoma she married F. Nicholas Quinalty who preceded her in death on March 30, 1982 while they were living in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Blanche was a member of the Pawhuska Church of Christ and had given over two thousand hours of service to the Pawhuska Hospital Auxiliary where she was historian at the time of her death. She was a homemaker, gardener, traveler, doll collector and craft maker. Survivors include a son Larry and his wife Linda Quinalty of Cassville, Missouri; three daughters and their husbands, Karen and Robert Ramey of Wellington, Kansas; Kris and C.B. "Mack" McKinley of Pawhuska, Oklahoma; Kay and Jim Hefley of Mustang, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Angela Quinalty of Radley, Kansas; Keats and wife Laura Quinalty of Arlington, Virginia; Mark and wife Jennifer Quinalty of Fayetteville, Arkansas; Jennifer Swan of Stillwater, Oklahoma; Jacob and Charli McKinley of Pawhuska; Ericka Shutrump of Mustang, Oklahoma; and numerous other relatives and friends. In addition to her husband, Blanche was preceded in death by her father in 1980, her mother in 1983, her brothers, John in 1951, Ben in 1953 and Casper in 1995. Memorials may be made in her name to The Pawhuska Hospital Auxiliary, Pawhuska, Hospital, 1101 East 15th Street, Pawhuska, Oklahoma 74056. Funeral services were held Saturday, February 26, 2000 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel in Pawhuska, Oklahoma with graveside rites held Monday at 11:30 a.m. in The Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma. Lawrence Redding officiated under the direction of Johnson Funeral Directors.
