Nancy was born August 28, 1941 in Heber Springs, Arkansas, the daughter of William Verlin and Mildred (Scultz) Avery. She moved to Pawhuska, Oklahoma, at an early age and continued to live there until moving to Bartlesville, Oklahoma, in 1974. She was a graduate of Pawhuska High School and was a retired bookkeeper. Survivors include: Two daughters, Betty Stamper of Bartlesville and Kelly Nethercott of Dewey, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 29, at 2:00 p.m., in the El Caddo Cemetery near Chautauqua, Kansas with Reverend Wayman White officiating. Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska, is in charge of arrangements.
