ROGERS OCNS - January 31, 2001 - Nancy E. Rogers, 85, lifelong resident of Pawhuska, Oklahoma, passed away Monday, January 29, 2001, in the Pawhuska Nursing Home. Nancy was born April 24, 1915, in Pawhuska to Thomas Louis and Della "Dovie" (Glendenning) Rogers. She was a member of the Church of God and the American Legion Auxillary, having served as a U.S. Army Air Force WAAC from 1943-1945. Survivors include: a daughter, Cora Jean Jech of Pawhuska; two half- brothers, Son Bowline of Tahlequah, Oklahoma and Everett Bowline; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, one great-great granddaughter and a host of other family and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dovie Rogers and a brother, Thomas Capp Rogers. Services will be Thursday, February 1, at 2:00 p.m., in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Paul Etter officiating. Interment will follow in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Johnson Funeral Home is in charge.
