Mrs. Clopp will lie in state at the Johnson Funeral Home, 219 East Sixth Street, Pawhuska, until service time on Monday. Mr. & Mrs. Clopp moved to Miami in 1965. Mr. Clopp passed away in 1970. Mrs. Clopp worked at Milner-Berkey and for several years, at the Gibson Discount Center. Mrs. Clopp leaves one daughter, Paula Darnell, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great great grandchild. BELOW TAKEN FROM THE MIAMI NEWS RECORD Norma Vail Clopp, 89, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002, at Eastwood Manor in Commerce, Oklahoma. Mrs. Clopp was born Sept. 12, 1912, in Clarksville, Iowa, to Tracy and Charlotte (Wilson) Scott. She moved to Pawhuska, Oklahoma, in 1930 and to Miami, Oklahoma, in 1965. She worked for J.C. Penney in Pawhuska for many years. She worked at Milner-Berkey for many years and at the Gibson Discount Center. She married Paul Clopp Oct. 29, 1933. He preceded her in death Oct. 7, 1970. She was also preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Delbert Shepard in January, 1999. Survivors include a daughter, Paula Darnell of Quapaw; Oklahoma; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, eight great-great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and her goddaughter, Twylia Murdock of Oklahoma City. Graveside rites were 2 p.m. March 11 in the Pawhuska City Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska.
