Raymond Henson officiating. Norman Bevard age 57, died January 23, 2002 at his home in Skiatook. Mr. Bevard was born March 11, 1944 in Broken Arrow, to Howard Bevard and Maudie (Forbes) Bevard. He grew up in Broken Arrow, graduating from high school there in 1962. He married Carol Denise (Thompson) Fingerlin on May 1, 2000 in Bentonville, AK and they made their home in Skiatook since that time. Norman was self-employed as an electrician and was currently employed with Green Country Oil and Supply. He was a member of the Hominy Volunteer Firemen and former Hominy City Councilman. Mr. Bevard is survived by his wife Chi Chi of the home, his sons, Eddie Ray Bevard, Yukon, David DeWayne Bevard of Hominy, his mother and father Howard and Maudie Bevard of Broken Arrow, one brother Raymond L. Bevard of Sand Springs, one sister Peggy Cumingham, Yukon, five grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by one daughter Cathy Sue Bevard and one sister Robin Bevard. Music selection for the service were “In the Garden,” and “I Need No Mansion Here” performed by Robin Edens. Funeral services were under the direction of the Sien-Shelton Funeral Home.
