Roberts Nora Maxine Roberts, of rural Hominy, was born May 3, 1924, in Lockney, TX to Nora May Barnett Richison and Sidney Richison. She entered into rest at Hillcrest Medical Center Sat., Oct. 29, 2001. She was 77 years of age. Nora Maxine Roberts was schooled in McAlester, where she met and married her husband Donald Revell Roberts, Sr. in 1952. Maxine was baptized at North Town Baptist in McAlester. She enjoyed fishing and cooking. She was a wonderful cook. She was a giving person who always put the needs of others before her own needs. A blessing to everyone who knew her. Maxine was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. Maxine is survived by her husband Donald Revell Roberts, Sr. of the home, two daughters Gloria Roberts and companion Linda Rogers of Broken Arrow and Joanna and husband Romeo Chavez of Tulsa, one son Donald and wife Lisa Roberts of Owasso; three granddaughters, Amanda Roberts of Prattville, Angela Edwards of Owasso and Hanna Roberts of Owasso; one brother Eugene Richison of Mesquite, NY; numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by both her parents and three brothers. Memorial services for Nora Maxine Roberts were 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Phillip Fox officiating.
