Johnson Funeral Home, Pawhuska, Oklahoma, is in charge of arrangements. Nettie was born June 11, 1914, at Glenpool, Oklahoma to John R. and Dollie Cleo Coleman Jones. She and H.J. "Bud" Romans were married March 26, 1937 at Chandler, Oklahoma. Long time residents of Pawhuska, Nettie and Bud recently became residents of The Greenbriar Nursing Home in Enid, Oklahoma where Nettie passed away on August 12, 2002. Before retiring, Nettie was a secretary at The Howard Insurance Agency in Pawhuska and Bud was employed by The Texaco Company. They were members of The Calvary Baptist Church. Nettie is survived by her husband, "Bud" Romans; daughter, Darlene and husband Don Druiett of Waukomis, Oklahoma; two sisters, Alice Couey of Pawhuska and Hazel Gladys Kirk of Tulsa; three grandchildren, Randy and wife, Barbara, Griffin of Greeley, Colorado, Gayla and husband, Chris, McAtee of Laverne, Oklahoma and Roger and wife, Nancy, Griffin of Enid, Oklahoma; eight great grandchildren, Jeff and wife, Lacy, Griffin serving in The United States Navy, B.J. and wife, Carrie, Griffin of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jerri Griffin of Lamar, Colorado, Dustin and wife, Amber, McAtee, Brant and wife, Earin, McAtee and Cory McAtee of Laverne, Oklahoma, and Wendy and Kristopher Griffin of Enid; three great great- grandchildren, Dar and Mara Jade Griffin of Dallas, Texas, Shelby Smith of Enid and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
