His brother, Rev. Clyde Oliver Womack conducted the services. Mr. Womack was born June 5, 1910 to Jim and Nora (McKnight) Womack at Sentinel, Oklahoma. On June 27, 1936, he married Avis Cox at McPherson, Kansas. She preceded him in death on May 7, 1998. They had lived in Ardmore since 1961, previously living in Kansas and Ponca City. He was retired from the Conoco Oil Company. He passed away March 9, 2002 at the Nursing Home in Ardmore. Also preceding him in death were five sisters and three brothers. Survivors include: a son Rick Womack and wife Loma of Ardmore, a brother Clyde Womack Sr. of Velma, two grandchildren: Wes Womack of Oklahoma City and Randy Womack of Ardmore and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family asks that memorials be sent to the American Heart Association, 3545 NW 58th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73112. Services were under the direction of Craddock Funeral Home.
